If you are an agency staff member or another management user from a local organization you will need to have registered and had your account activated in order to manage your organizations data.

Searching for a service is very simple:

1. Using the Keyword field (Service Finder) on the very front page where you login/logout, enter a word to search by and then click on the gray search button
2. you will arrive on a search results table where you click on a link to view further details about the Agency, Program, or Service of your choice
3. the details will contain information on how to contact the service and what they have to offer

The Directory of Services, also known as the Taxonomy, contains categories ordered in a hierarchial view with up to five levels per category. Each category can have Services posted to it. These Service Profiles will be listed in a table where you can also view the sponsoring Agency or Program details by clicking on available links.

This calendaring system may or may not be available to non-registered users. If you are unable to access this area please contact the sites administrator for details.

This calendar is designed to host a variety of events local to your community, efforst, or other causes, some events may be fairly general and be viewable without logging in to the site. However, some may only be viewed by personnel of agencies or folks belonging to certain Security Groups set up by the Sites Administrator.

If you are a registered user and have adequate permissions you may be able to post your personal events here as well as your agency events. The Calendar Export feature will allow you to download any events that you can view and import them into a palm pilot tool.

This page is designed to host links that will take a registered management user from an agency or local organization to a variety of tools and features to manage information, including: I & R, Case Management, HMIS, Shelter Management, Volunteer Request Management, Reports, and many other features Tapestry has to offer.

If you are logged in and do not see links here you may simply not have adequate permissions to access those tools in the system. You will want to contact the Site Administrator for details on using management features.

There are several ways you can utilize this sites resources to participate as a volunteer locally:

1) there may be Volunteer opportunities already listed via links on the How Can I Help page where you can search and view an opportunity. In the details view of an opportunity there is a link to sign up and 'request' to be a volunteer for it.

2) if you don't see a particular opportunity that interests you,  you may want to simply fill out and submit a Volunteer Registry form. This may also be available via the How Can I Help page

3) if you are already a registered and logged in Tapestry user there may be additional options and you may only need to contact a local volunteer center or the Sites Administrator for specific information on how to participate in local volunteer efforts

In the Directory of Services among many other areas you may find that there are links in the top right or left of a particular page view that indicates to 'translate or Espanol' click here. If you click on that link the system will transfer you to a site called Babel Fish that can translate the page you are viewing or specific text of your choice to another language.

If you wish to be a registered participant of our local efforts or if you are an Agency or Staff member please:

1. click on the Login tab on the front page of this site
2. click on the Register Me button and fill in the form you arrive on
3. be sure to click on the button to submit the form once it is filled in

The codes you are provided will be applicable immediately but if you wish to have advanced feature permissions to manage information you will need to contact the Site Administrator or he/she will be in contact you if you expressed interest on the Registration Form.
